Creative Encounters was a dual exhibition with Jaime Sanchez at the Santa Cruz Art League, April 16 – May 20, 2022. The work shown here runs from the intimate to the architectural: flameworked creatures sit alongside a pedestal field of one-off blown vessels and a plasma-lit sculpture. The through-line is the same one that runs through the whole practice — living structure rendered in glass: trees, birds, snails, and the vessels that hold light like water.
